Does Phelps supply Chemraz® O-Rings or Perfluoroelastomer?
Chemraz® is registered trademark of Greene, Tweed for perfluoroelastomer. Unless you are looking for Chemraz®, Phelps recommends perfluoroelastomer that matches the properties and requirements of your application. Alternatively, you could also use Parker's perfluoroelastomer F200-75 (Ultra® FFKM), developed specifically for use in critical, demanding termperatures and fluids. FF200-75 is formulated to withstand long term exposure to heat, maintain high sealing force retention, resist compression set and maintains excellent mechanical properties Perfluoroelastomer O-Rings and Seals have resistance to: • Aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons; gas turbine engine lubrication systems • Chlorinated hydrocarbons • Polar solvents (ketones, esters, ethers) • Inorganic and organic acids • Water • Propellants such as NTO, MMH, JP4 and other strong oxidizers Not compatible with: • Fluorinated refrigerants (R11, 12, 13, 113, 114, etc.) • Perfluorinated lubricants (PFPE) Used for extremely high temperature applications such as fuel injectors, fuel nozzles, etc.
