Phelps Style 9230 are BX-Type ring-joint gaskets are manufactured in accordance with API 6A, and are only suited and designed for API 6BX flanges. Phelps BX-Type gaskets are can be used at pressures up to 15,000 psi, and therefore make them suitable for high pressure Oil Drilling applications, petrochemicals industry, and Oil & Gas processing. BX-type ring-joint gaskets are most commonly ordered in low carbon steel, 304 and 316 stainless steel materials.
