Phelps Compressed Gasket Sheet

Style 7100 - Compressed Aramid Fiber With Buna-N Nitrile Binder

Compressed sheet constructed with fibers providing chemical stability and heat resistance.  The Nitrile binder offers good resistance to various oils, petroleum derivatives, low pressure steam, gases, etc.  Resistance to high temperature creep with torque retention provides its sealing properties. This material is particularly good in 150 lb., and 300 lb. flange gaskets, steam applications. Suitable for potable water.
